Shift Pattern: Continetal

A flexographic Printer job requires you to manage flexographic printing machines such asan
10 colour narrow web servo-driven flexographic press. You usually prepare the press for printing and troubleshoot any issues during printing.

Monitor printing processes of presses tomaintainspecified operating levels and to detect malfunctions,adjustingas necessary. Maintain inks and solvents according to types of material being printed and work order specifications.

• To ensure all printing tasks are carried out tohigh standard sand that the standards are maintained.

• Tooperateand maintain production speeds on your shift and setting times to targets and record / report in areas where this is not possible.

• To work constantly towards production improvements in methods, toeliminatepotential quality problems and reduce downtime.

• To liaise with the production manager to achieve best possible machineutilisation with minimum wastage, while ensuring excellent quality, at best possible deliverydates.

• Work as part of a team supporting colleagues and sharing information.

• To follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department and ensureaccuraterecords are maintained.

• To ensure your teamwork andmaintainsafe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and efficient.

• Ensure collaborative working within the Print Department viagood communication.

• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Ability tooperateor to quickly learn tooperatevarious printing machines and related software.

• Ability to follow instructions.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Experience in Flexographic Printing

• Experience meeting SEDEX and ETI Requirements (not essential)

• Experience working within a team with a good standard of communication

• Experienced Flexographic Printer
