Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Visitor based within the Kilmarnock Area. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

Hours

28.8 hours per week.

UK Driving Licence

A UK driving licence is essential for this role.

What You Will Do

You will work in partnership with local children and their families, alongside colleagues in NHS and partner services to enable children to have the best possible start in life and reach their optimum health outcomes. The successful applicant will work with an excellent team of Health Visitors and other Early Years staff to provide a service directed by the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.

Knowledge,

Training and/or Experience Required for This Post
  • Registered nurse or midwife at degree level or equivalent.
  • Post registration qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing and be registered on Part 3 of the National Nursing and Midwifery Council register, with a key interest in early intervention in the early years.
  • Consideration will be given to applicants undertaking Specialist Community Public Health Nurse/Health Visitor training with completion expected by September 2026.
