Permanent basis.
21.6 hours per week. From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full‑time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro‑rated for part‑time staff) without loss of earnings.
Driving LicenceA UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What You Will DoThe successful candidate will support the seamless delivery of the childhood vaccination programme for pre‑5 children to all GP practices within East Ayrshire. They will also work within the School Nursing Service to manage expectations of priority pathways of need, particularly around the emotional wellbeing needs of school‑age children.
Knowledge, Training and ExperienceApplicants must be a 1st level Registered Nurse and possess a degree in a related field such as Nursing or Health Studies. Evidence of further professional development is desirable. Excellent communication skills, a passion for improving outcomes for children, and the ability to be flexible and work within a large team supporting the wellbeing of children are essential.
