Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the friendly and supportive team at MBM Vets on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a multi-site role, working across our three Small Animal practices located in Kilmarnock, Beith, and Mauchline.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for small animals as part of the Small Animal team.
- Support the clinical team with animal welfare, patient monitoring, and perioperative care as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high standards of patient care and contribute to clinical excellence.
- Participate in the 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota (8:30am to 1:00pm); no out-of-hours or on-call duties.
- Work across MBM Vets’ three sites (Kilmarnock, Beith, Mauchline) as needed.
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification.

MBM Veterinary Group is a long-established practice in Ayrshire with branches in Kilmarnock, Mauchline, and Beith, providing small animal, equine, and farm animal services. The team includes 20 veterinary surgeons and 16 registered veterinary nurses, supported by animal nursing assistants and reception staff. The practice offers comprehensive care with strong links to referral centres for complex cases and supports a healthy work-life balance.
