Overview

Telesales / Account Executive — Office-based — Kilmarnock — £26,000 + performance incentives.

We're working with a well-established, fast-growing business within the food and hospitality supply space who are looking to add a confident, commercially minded Telesales / Account Executive to their customer support team.

This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, managing accounts, and spotting opportunities to grow business — rather than hard selling.

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of customers, acting as their main point of contact while proactively identifying opportunities to increase order value, re-engage lapsed accounts, and support the wider field sales team. It s a great mix of inbound account handling and targeted outbound activity.

You'll be joining a supportive, high-energy team where confidence, initiative, and commercial awareness are genuinely rewarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and online ordering platforms
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with new, existing, and lapsed customers
  • Proactively contact customers to promote products and drive additional sales
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, providing product knowledge and tailored solutions
  • Identify sales trends and opportunities within customer accounts
  • Book qualified appointments for external sales representatives
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including call activity and follow-ups
  • Feed back customer insights to support wider business improvements
What We're Looking For
  • Essential
  • 2+ years  experience in sales, telesales, or account management
  • Strong customer service background with a commercial mindset
  • Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
  • Target-driven and motivated by results
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities
  • Strong IT skills (CRM systems, Microsoft Office)
  • Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Desirable
  • Experience with in hospitality, food service, or a related sector
  • Exposure to account management or B2B sales environments
