Position
Security Officer (Permanent) at University Hospital Crosshouse, NHS Ayrshire and Arran. This post is open to internal staff only.
Hours & Shift Pattern5-week rota, 36 hours per week over 7 days. Shift patterns: 7.00‑3.00 pm; 3.00‑11.00 pm; 11.00‑7.00 am.
What You Will DoThe general role of the security officer is widely varied and includes driving, monitoring CCTV, patrolling premises, locking and securing premises, and issuing keys.
Key Responsibilities- Drive as required.
- Monitor CCTV and observe premises.
- Patrol premises and ensure safety.
- Lock and secure premises as necessary.
- Issue keys.
- Clean UK driving licence (or car ownership).
- Numerate, literate and practical.
- Good communication skills at various levels.
- Ability to use own initiative to anticipate and make appropriate decisions.
- Expected to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexible approach to work and working hours.
