Job Description Assist with the provision of an efficient and effective integrated facilities management service within a Council/ Partner premise as well as the provision of a reactive service covering Janitorial, Cleaning and Crossing patrols across a service area, ensuring delivery and integration of the Council`s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.##

Requirements The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.  Successful applicants for such posts will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both of these groups as appropriate, or if they are already a Scheme member, be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council.

The hours is 37 hours per week working:

Week 1:
Mon to Fri: 6:00am-2:00pm.

Week 2:
Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun: – 2:30pm-10:30pm.

Week 3:
Mon, Tues & Thu: – 2:30pm-10:30pm and Sat & Sun: – 6:00am-2:00pmThe full time salary is £26,744 to £27,879 per annum plus a shift allowance.
