Job Description
Assist in the daily preparation of food for a variety of meal plans at various establishments across East Ayrshire in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council's key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.
Responsibilities- Assist in the daily preparation of food for meal plans at various establishments.
- Follow national guidance on pre‑employment checks: provide at least two appropriate references, one from the current or most recent employer, and ensure the reference comes from an appropriate senior manager.
- Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Must be a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for regulated work with children and/or protected adults, or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update before being formally offered employment.
This is a permanent part‑time position based within Grange Academy, Kilmarnock. Working hours are 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 11:15 am – 2:15 pm during term time.
Hourly rate: £13.48 – £13.64.
