At Accountant in Bankruptcy, the Finance Team plays a central role in supporting the Agency's strategic ambitions and operational success. We are looking for a talented Finance Manager to provide financial leadership, influence key business decisions and contribute to impactful projects that support the effective stewardship of public funds. The Finance Team is a key corporate function within the Agency, providing financial stewardship, governance and strategic support to ensure public resources are managed efficiently and effectively. The team works closely with colleagues across the organisation, senior leaders and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making and the delivery of Agency objectives.
As Finance Manager, you will play a significant role in supporting the Agency's financial planning, management and reporting activities. You will provide expert financial advice and analysis to a broad range of stakeholders, contribute to strategic decision-making, and help ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, legislation and Scottish Government guidance.
You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes and controls, support the development of colleagues within the Finance Team, and lead or contribute to projects that enhance the Agency's financial services and operational effectiveness.
