About the Role

Our client, a reputable automotive workshop in Kimberley , is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Automotive Mechanic . This role requires a deep understanding of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide array of mechanical issues across different makes and models. You will be expected to perform complex repairs, mentor junior technicians, and maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned mechanic to take on a leadership role within a well-established workshop, contributing to the efficiency and quality of services provided in the Northern Cape .

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other mechanical systems.
• Interpret technical service manuals, diagnostic codes, and schematics to troubleshoot issues accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance services, including inspections, oil changes, and tune-ups.
• Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance, providing clear explanations and estimates.
• Mentor and guide junior automotive technicians, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the Kimberley workshop.

• Proven experience as a qualified Automotive Mechanic, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior or lead role.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical faults in a variety of vehicles.
• Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools, multimeters, and other mechanical repair equipment.
• Relevant trade qualifications and certifications are highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
