Our client is looking for a vigilant Site Safety Officer with a minimum of five years' experience in the construction sector. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the South African OHS Act and the ability to develop effective safety programs. You will play a critical role in risk management and accident investigation, reinforcing a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety audits and identify hazards

• Create and implement health and safety policies

• Provide safety training to all site staff

• Investigate and report on incidents and near misses

• Track and maintain safety documentation and logs

Requirements:

• Registered Professional Practitioner in OHS or equivalent

• 5+ years as a Safety Officer in construction

• Extensive knowledge of OHS regulations

• Strong skills in communication and incident reporting

• Ability to identify and assess risks effectively
