About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to support their team in Kimberley. In this role, you will be responsible for producing precise architectural drawings and technical documentation based on designs provided by architects and designers. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project plans. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical drafting skills to contribute to diverse projects and grow within a supportive architectural practice in the Northern Cape.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.
- Translate design concepts and sketches into accurate and clear technical drawings.
- Assist in the production of construction documents and permit application drawings.
- Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
- Perform revisions and updates to drawings as directed.
- National Diploma in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards and architectural conventions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
