About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Process Optimization Engineer to drive efficiency and effectiveness in their operations. Based in Kimberley , you will analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that reduce waste, lower costs, and enhance product quality. This role is vital for maintaining our client's competitive edge through superior operational performance. You will collaborate closely with various departments, employing advanced analytical techniques and methodologies to achieve significant and sustainable operational enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze manufacturing and business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies for process optimization using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Design and conduct pilot tests for new processes or modifications.
- Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness of implemented changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful process integration and adoption.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, optimization, or a similar role.
- Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies (Green or Black Belt preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical software.
- Excellent communication and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in both team environments and independently.
