About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and scientifically astute Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the Kimberley region and surrounding areas. This key role involves building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs), disseminating complex scientific and clinical information, and gathering insights from the medical community. You will serve as a crucial scientific expert for our client's therapeutic areas, ensuring the responsible and accurate communication of scientific data.
This is a high-impact, field-based role for a passionate scientific communicator.
- Engage with KOLs and HCPs to discuss scientific and clinical data related to company products and therapeutic areas.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
- Gather insights on disease state, treatment landscape, and unmet medical needs from the field.
- Present complex scientific data at medical conferences, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
- Support clinical trial activities, including site identification and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with internal medical, clinical, and commercial teams to ensure alignment.
- Advanced degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent) in a life science discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a related medical affairs role.
- Deep understanding of a specific therapeutic area relevant to our client's portfolio.
- Excellent scientific communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including overnight stays.
