About the Role
Our client is seeking an efficient and proactive HR Coordinator to join their team, supporting HR operations remotely. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the HR department by managing administrative tasks, supporting recruitment, and assisting employees with HR-related queries. You will be an integral part of the HR function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all administrative processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organized individual looking to grow their career in Human Resources within a fully remote capacity.
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment process , including posting vacancies, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Onboard new employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain employee records and update the HR Information System (HRIS) with changes and new information.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and payroll in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and leave management.
- Support the HR team in organizing training sessions, employee events, and other HR initiatives.
- Ensure all HR documentation and processes comply with South African labour law.
- Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role.
- Good understanding of HR principles and South African labour legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with HRIS software.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote role.
