HR Generalist - Payroll & Benefits

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and reliable HR Generalist with a specialization in Payroll and Benefits Administration to join their team in Kimberley . This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and the effective management of employee benefits programs. You will be responsible for maintaining payroll systems, resolving discrepancies, and acting as a key point of contact for employee inquiries related to their compensation and benefits.

• Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement funds, and leave management.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and payroll systems.
• Reconcile payroll and benefits reports and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with the implementation of new payroll and benefits initiatives or system updates.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Payroll and Benefits Administration, or a generalist role with a strong payroll focus.
• Proficiency in payroll software and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Thorough understanding of South African payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Strong numerical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• National Diploma in HR, Accounting, or a related field.
