Procurement Officer - General Goods

About the Role

This role involves sourcing a wide variety of products, negotiating prices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery to meet operational demands. • Source and purchase a diverse range of general goods required by various departments.
• Evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery capabilities, and reliability.

• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Track order fulfillment and resolve any delivery or quality issues with suppliers.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

• Proven experience in a Procurement Officer or Buyer role.
• Familiarity with sourcing a wide variety of general goods and supplies.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and standard office applications.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is advantageous.
