About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and well-connected Sports Event Promoter to drive attendance and engagement for various sporting events and leagues in the Kimberley region. This role involves developing and executing innovative promotional strategies, building relationships with media outlets, and leveraging community partnerships to generate excitement and ticket sales. You will be instrumental in increasing the visibility of events and attracting a diverse audience.

• Develop and execute comprehensive promotional plans for assigned sporting events.
• Identify and engage target audiences through various marketing channels (digital, social media, traditional).
• Build and maintain relationships with local media, community groups, and influencers.
• Create compelling promotional materials, including press releases, advertisements, and social media content.
• Manage ticket sales strategies and work with ticketing platforms to maximize revenue.
• Organize promotional activities, sponsor ships, and fan engagement initiatives.

• Proven experience in event promotion, marketing, or sales, preferably within the sports industry.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and promotional tactics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to network effectively and build strong relationships within the community.
• Familiarity with the sports landscape in the Kimberley area is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently on a contract basis.
