About the Role

Our client, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to advancing educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth, is seeking a highly skilled and persuasive Grant Writer to join their team in Kimberley . This vital role focuses on researching funding opportunities, developing compelling grant proposals, and securing the financial resources necessary to support and expand the organization’s impactful educational programs. You will work closely with program staff to understand needs and articulate the organization’s value proposition to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities from various funding sources.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports.
• Develop strong relationships with foundation program officers and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with program teams to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
• Track grant application status and ensure compliance with funder requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Philanthropy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of successful experience in grant writing and fundraising.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals that secure funding.
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with the non-profit sector and grant-making landscape in Kimberley and the Northern Cape .
