Part-Time Youth Care Worker at Rocky Mountain

Contribute to student success as a part-time Youth Care Worker with the Rocky Mountain School District. Work alongside students requiring essential social-emotional support in a collaborative environment.

In this permanent role, you'll engage with students needing guidance in self-awareness and emotional regulation. Under the direction of the Principal, your responsibilities will include implementing intervention strategies, referring students to additional support services, and collaborating with families to foster well-being. This position aims to create healthy coping skills for students facing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement strategies to enhance emotional regulation

• Support students with exceptional social/emotional needs

• Collaborate on intervention design with staff and families

• Collect data to support programming and assessments

• Maintain accurate records of student interactions

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent necessary

• Certificate in youth work, psychology, or related field

• Valid driver's license for travel

• Experience with multi-disciplinary teams preferred

• Certification in trauma-informed practices is an asset
