International Student Homestay Coordinator

Become part of Rocky Mountain International Student Program as the Homestay Coordinator in Golden, BC. This part-time contract role focuses on recruiting host families and supporting international students.

This ongoing contractor position starts August 17, 2026, with flexible hours required, including weekdays and weekends. You'll manage an array of administrative tasks while fostering relationships with students, host families, and educational staff. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively will be essential in making the homestay experience positive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advertise for and recruit new homestay families

• Communicate regularly with international students for support

• Maintain relationships with host families and RMISP staff

• Organize weekly lunch meetings and activities for students

• Manage documentation in online systems and databases

Requirements:

• Valid BC Driver's license (Class
5)

• Vehicle suitable for student transportation

• Ability or willingness to obtain Occupational First Aid (Level
1)

• Canadian citizenship or Permanent Residency required

• Criminal record search to be completed
