Fleet Operations Supervisor - Northern Cape

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Fleet Operations Supervisor to lead their transportation fleet in the Kimberley region. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely delivery of goods across the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations, managing a team of drivers, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and upholding high safety standards.

• Supervise and manage a team of delivery drivers, monitoring performance and adherence to schedules.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize operational costs.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all fleet vehicles are compliant with safety regulations.
• Conduct regular driver training sessions focusing on safety protocols and efficient driving practices.
• Investigate and resolve any delivery issues, customer complaints, or driver-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs.
