Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join their team in Kimberley , focusing on essential infrastructure development projects within the Northern Cape. You will be involved in the planning, design, and execution of vital public works, contributing to the region's growth and community well-being. This role requires active participation on-site and in project coordination, offering a hands-on experience in shaping local infrastructure.

• Assist in the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, such as roads, water reticulation, and sanitation systems.
• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and data collection for project planning.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and local authorities during project implementation.
• Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling and cost control.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in civil engineering design and site supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant civil design software.
• Familiarity with South African civil engineering standards and practices.
