Catering Event Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Catering Event Coordinator to manage and execute a diverse range of events in Kimberley . This role is central to ensuring that every event, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, is planned and delivered with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional client service. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating all logistical aspects, from initial inquiry and menu planning to on-site supervision and post-event follow-up.

This position requires a flair for organization and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for clients.

• Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, staffing, and logistics.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates.
• Liaise with on-site teams and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
• Develop detailed event plans and timelines, managing timelines and resources effectively.
• Manage event budgets and process invoices for received services.
• Conduct client consultations and debriefings to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.

• Demonstrable experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in catering.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Proficiency with event management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing event requirements on the fly.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules in Kimberley .
