About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Welder to join their fabrication and maintenance team in Kimberley . You will be responsible for joining metal components using various welding techniques to create and repair structures and equipment. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of metal properties and welding processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to high-quality fabrication and repair work, ensuring structural integrity and safety standards are met for projects within the Northern Cape .

• Perform welding operations using various methods (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) according to blueprints and specifications.
• Join metal parts and assemblies accurately and securely.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Repair damaged metal structures and equipment through welding.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning and grinding.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Certified Welder with proven experience in industrial or fabrication settings.
• Proficiency in multiple welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and metallurgy.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, and lift as required for the role in Kimberley .
