Mentor for a 14-Year-Old Boy
Location:
Kimberly, WI
Pay: $20-$21 per hour
Schedule:
Weekdays 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM and some weekends
Type:
Part-time 10 hours per week
Are you patient, positive, and passionate about making a difference in a young person’s life? A wonderful 14-year-old boy on the autism spectrum is looking for a caring, dependable mentor to spend time with him after school and on weekends.
Responsibilities- Support and guide him in learning daily living skills
- Help him become more comfortable in the community, practicing appropriate social behaviors, and build confidence around others
- Enjoy outings together: restaurants, bowling, and other fun community activities
- Patient, reliable, and caring
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience or interest in working with youth or individuals on the autism spectrum (training or guidance can be provided)
- Passionate about helping others grow, learn, and experience life to the fullest
