This full-time position is pivotal in coordinating unfilled shifts, processing payroll hours, and assisting with employee leave claims. You will offer administrative support to home leadership and engage with residents and external providers courteously. Your expertise with Workday and Microsoft Office will be essential to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assign and manage employee schedules effectively
• Fill vacant shifts by coordinating with employees and agencies
• Validate and reconcile hours for accurate payroll submissions
• Support leave administration and WCB interactions
• Provide administrative assistance to the Operations Manager
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in office administration or equivalent
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare settings is an asset
• Strong skills in Workday and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with HR and payroll functions
