Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg and skilled nursing assignment in California, requiring a current CA RN license and strong Cerner EMR skills.
Responsibilities- Work in Med/Surg and skilled nursing departments with adult and non-critical pediatric populations
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Floating required to the skilled nursing department
- Cerner EMR experience is required
- Rapid response crisis assignment lasting 13 weeks
- Candidates must be familiar with National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by The Joint Commission
- Paid orientation is provided at the beginning of the assignment
- No COVID-19 vaccination is required for this position
- Candidates may be called off up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract based on census changes
- No specific radius rule for local candidates applies
- Active California RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Experience providing care to non-critical pediatric patients
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR is mandatory
