We are seeking an experienced Manager of Surgical Services to oversee and coordinate all aspects of surgical care in a dynamic hospital setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical operations.

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing – Required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent – Required
• CNOR Certification – Preferred

Work Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of RN experience, including 2 years as a circulating RN in surgery – Required
• 1 year Post-Anesthesia Care experience – Preferred
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience – Preferred

Licensing & Certifications:

• Active California RN License – Required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications – Required

• Demonstrates composure and sound judgment during surgical emergencies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues within surgical operations.
• Effective leadership and delegation abilities to maintain departmental efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 4 hours or more per day.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs several hours per day.
• Moderate exposure to hazardous waste and chemicals.
• Works collaboratively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments.
