Senior Tax Accountant

Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our client's team in the Greater Philadelphia area. In this Senior Tax Accountant role, you will perform ongoing technical review of all tax returns, provide open communication to all staff, participates in a variety of client engagements; planning, executing and completing tax and accounting projects, consults with teammates on operational and control opportunities, as well as prepare annual individual and business tax returns.

Responsibilities:

+ Conduct thorough reviews of individual and corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.

+ Prepare annual tax filings for individuals and businesses, meeting all deadlines.

+ Collaborate with team members to execute tax and accounting projects effectively.

+ Provide technical expertise and guidance to staff on tax-related matters.

+ Assist in identifying operational improvements and strengthening control processes.

+ Utilize Quick Books and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data and reporting.

+ Support compliance audits and ensure adherence to tax regulations.

Requirements

The ideal Senior Tax Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Senior Tax Accountant role include and are not limited to:

+ 5+ years of accounting experience

+ Proven knowledge of tax regulations

+ Quick Books experience preferred

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Strong Microsoft Excel

+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

+ High attention to detail
