Senior Accountant

Experience: 5+ Years of General Ledger Accounting

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to make an impact in a growing organization? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance team and play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, and financial analysis.

• Play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations and growth.
• Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
• Contribute to financial technology implementation and process improvements.
• Gain exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and intercompany consolidation.

• Manage key accounting activities, including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support budgeting, audit preparation, and compliance with internal controls.
• Assist with intercompany consolidation activities alongside the parent company.
• Prepare financial reports and ad hoc analyses to identify trends, variances, and business insights.
• Support the CFO with accurate, timely financial information to drive informed decision-making.
• Assist with the implementation and integration of financial systems and technology.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
• Familiarity with accounting ERP systems, such as Net Suite, and financial technology platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within a collaborative finance team.

• CPA or CFA designation.
• Experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, or Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry.
• Experience supporting audits and working with a parent company on financial consolidation.
