Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer with a strong background in assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) of complex aerospace or defense systems.

In this role, you will support the build-up, integration, functional checkout, environmental test, and verification of spacecraft, subsystems, or mission-critical ground systems. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test operations teams to ensure hardware and system-level configurations meet design intent and mission requirements. This position requires hands-on engagement, technical rigor, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, highly controlled test environments supporting national security missions.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, and oversee assembly, integration, and test activities for spacecraft, payloads, or ground mission systems.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test procedures, work instructions, and integration flows.
• Conduct hardware integration, cabling, mechanical assembly, electrical checkout, and system activation activities.
• Perform test execution including functional testing, performance testing, environmental testing (vibe, thermal vacuum), and end-to-end mission simulation.
• Support test readiness reviews, configuration management, and anomaly investigations.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, document discrepancies, and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain rigorous adherence to test safety protocols, cleanroom requirements, and handling procedures for sensitive hardware.
• Ensure verification evidence aligns with program requirements, test objectives, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integration sequencing aligns with system architecture and availability of components.
• Maintain accurate test data records, logbooks, and configuration documentation. Important Notes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM field.
