Responsibilities- Design mechanical structures and hardware using 3D CAD modeling tools.
- Create mechanical drawings and manage drawing lifecycle using data management software.
- Assist with engineering test efforts.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure robust engineering design.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with PTC Creo, or similar 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., Solid Works or NX).
- Experience creating, releasing, and/or managing mechanical drawing releases and revisions.
- Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with additive manufacturing and/or 3D printing.
- Experience with mechanical engineering testing.
- Familiar with PTC Windchill.
- Familiar with aerospace industry specifications (ASME, ASTM, SAE, etc.).
- Understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles.

Salary and BenefitsNational Pay Statement:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 – $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
