Join ENERCON’s Design Services Group as an Associate Manager/Manager I&C Design Engineering. In this exciting role, you’ll oversee a talented engineering unit, directing projects to success and ensuring exceptional quality standards.
Your leadership will extend to business development, staff development, and organizational support, driving the team towards achieving business goals. This role can be based in one of the following locations:
- Kennesaw, GA
- Palm Beach Gardens, FL
- Pensacola, FL
- Birmingham, AL
- Fort Worth, TX
- Phoenix, AZ
- San Luis Obispo, CA
- King of Prussia, PA
- Baton Rouge, LA

- Products & Deliverables:
Serve as the focal point for initial unit contact to Management, Project Managers (PM) and other internal constituents. Together with the PMs and lead engineers, define the scope of work for work proposals. Direct/assign work to the unit to balance activities between work groups. - Business Development:
Lead proposal preparation with input for scope and budget to PMs. Develop professional relationships with client counterparts. - Leadership & Staff Development:
Identify and promote opportunities for site work. Identify and promote training opportunities. Utilize the review/approval process of deliverables as a technical training opportunity for staff. - Organizational Support:
Responsible for the assignment of engineering resources to projects. Maintain short and long-range staffing projections based on work projections. - Contribution to Business Goals:
Meet applied time goals set for position/division/discipline
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of engineering experience including experience supporting the nuclear power industry and 2+ years of leadership experience
- PE License is required
- Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
- Excellent verbal communication skills;
Comfortable and effective communicator with the team, clients, management, etc. - Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail
