Electrical Design Engineer

FCS is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for their top client in the Greater Philadelphia, PA area. This is a Direct Hire opportunity withan organization that's recognized for being a "Top 1% of Best Companies" to work for, and theleader in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge technology usedfor military, law enforcement, industrial, and automotive applications.

The Electrical Design Engineer should have strong leadership qualities, coupled witha technical background in designing, and testing products from concept to production. Qualified Engineers should have 3-5years of designing analog & digital circuits, creating PCB lay-outs, developing electrical schematics, writing code for microcontrollers, and embedded C programming.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Or similar field of study), and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical/electronic design.
• Must have experience in Embedded C Programming, writing firmware, and code for microcontrollers.
• Strengths indesigning analog and digital circuits, developing electronic circuits and embedded firmware for new products,creating schematics, PCB lay-outs, etc.
• Experience performing testing, creating test plans,design and quality standards, developing prototypes, and designing production test equipment.
• Knowledge withthru-hole and surface mount (SMT) assemblies
• Background designing and testing thermocouples,power supplies, switches, LED drives, current regulators,battery chargers, DC converters, etc.
