Water Planning Engineer​/Modeler

Apply for the Water Planning Engineer / Modeler role at GFT
. The Water Planning Engineer will contribute to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure as part of the Water/Wastewater Team in any of our PA offices. This role follows a hybrid work model with regular office attendance.

• Conduct strategic planning studies to improve water and wastewater systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct hydraulic modeling analysis and design on multiple complex projects.
• Analyze system performance data and maintain asset management plans.
• Evaluate water source, treatment, pumping, and distribution capacities.
• Interact with project clients to understand requirements.
• Provide technical input and review of project deliverables.
• Support scope, budgets, and proposal preparation.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in hydraulic analysis and design of water and wastewater systems.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as Water
  
  CAD/Water
  
  GEMS, Info Water, HAMMER, or similar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and deliver client presentations.

• Registered PE or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience as model manager and/or water planner.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000, dependent on experience and geographic location.
