Accounting Manager

(This role has a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days flex-remote)

UHS Corporate Accounting Department is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with corporate policies, and effective management of accounting processes.

• Lead monthly inter-company processes, ensure all entries are posted, and manage financial closing for multiple entities including preparation of financial packages and journal entries
• Coordinate annual and departmental budgets for UHT and corporate entities, including review and posting of entries
• Analyze project invoices for fixed assets, maintain master listings, and upload fixed assets into systems monthly
• Perform reconciliations for AP, payroll, interest schedules, and prepare related financial schedules for quarterly and annual reporting
• Prepare quarterly insurance reporting (IBNR) and assist with annual budget processes
• Manage UHT property manager entries, journal entries, trial balances, and related reconciliations

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

• CPA designation preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills required
