Patient Access Specialist – CyS Capacitacion y Servicios Empresariales, C.A.

Experience with in the healthcare industry, focusing on respiratory therapy, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment are required. The role involves creating, submitting, and documenting recertification CMNs to physician offices via Brightree and timely submission of authorization requests to designated payers.

• Collaborate with AR specialists and other department staff to ensure timely collections or issue resolution.
• Create, submit, and log CMN transactions accurately and on time.
• Ensure proper CMN/prescription documentation is on file for equipment and supplies billed to commercial, state, and federal entities.
• Create authorization requests using paper, printed documentation, fax, payer portals, or other means.
• Contact patients, physician offices, and referral sources regarding account issues.
• Escalate problem accounts and ensure resolution.
• Submit required forms and documentation to obtain authorization for services, supplies, and equipment.
• Understand payer requirements to ensure authorization approval.
• Maintain regular contact with patients, insurance plans, physician offices, respiratory therapists, and other personnel to ensure timely turnaround and approval.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.
• Preferred background in DME or medical reimbursement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related computer skills.
• Preferred experience with Brightree.
• Preferred clinical, medical office administrative, or related experience.
