Housekeeping Supervisor

Our Fairfield Inn Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor. The Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor oversees staff and daily cleaning operations, ensuring high standards for guest rooms and public areas by scheduling, training, inspecting work, managing supplies, and handling guest issues, acting as a key liaison with other hotel departments to guarantee guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Staff Supervision: Schedule, assign tasks, train, coach, evaluate, and manage housekeeping team members (room attendants, laundry, public area attendants).
• Quality Control: Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness and brand standards; verify room statuses and resolve discrepancies.
• Operations Management: Plan daily activities, manage inventory of supplies (linens, cleaning products, amenities), place orders, and maintain equipment.
• Guest Relations: Respond to guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Coordination: Liaise with Front Desk, Engineering, and Laundry to coordinate room readiness and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce hotel safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Ability to train and motivate staff.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with hotel software for room status updates.
