Location:
King of Prussia, PA (2 Days per Week in Office. Can also sit in Ft. Lauderdale, FL or Davidson, NC)

Insure Technology is currently partnered with one of it's key strategic clients, a PE-backed digital transformation company in the insurance automation space, to identify a highly skilled JIRA Administrator to lead the configuration, optimization, and governance of our Atlassian suite—primarily JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence. This senior-level role will work cross-functionally to streamline processes, drive automation, and ensure the Atlassian environment scales with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, custom fields, screens, dashboards, and automations.
• Configure and manage Confluence spaces, templates, and permissions to support team collaboration and documentation.
• Implement and maintain integrations with tools such as Git Hub, Salesforce, MS Teams, Pager Duty, and CI/CD systems.
• Develop governance standards and best practices, ensuring alignment across business and technical teams.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and manage system upgrades, migrations, and plugin maintenance.
• Create training materials, conduct workshops, and mentor junior team members on JIRA operations and strategy.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of JIRA administration experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise with JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of JIRA automation, Script Runner, REST APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud (preferred) and/or on-premises environments.
• Scripting skills (Groovy, Power Shell, Python) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating JIRA with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tool chains.
• Familiarity with IAM tools such as Okta or LDAP.
