Technical Delivery Manager Data Analytics

The company is a recognized leader in sustainability and waste management solutions, serving clients across industrial, commercial, and government sectors. They are investing heavily in data modernization and analytics platforms that enable smarter decisions, greater transparency, and more efficient environmental operations.

They are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) – Data & Analytics to lead enterprise-scale delivery of data engineering, analytics, and governance initiatives within their growing digital ecosystem. This contract position is based onsite in King of Prussia, PA (4 days per week) and offers an initial 6-month term with extensions expected (12–24 months total duration).

In this role, you’ll be the key driver of the organization’s data platform and analytics initiative, ensuring alignment between business objectives, data strategy, and technical delivery. You’ll manage distributed teams (onshore and offshore), partner closely with senior technology leaders, and oversee delivery across data pipelines, analytics, and governance.

• Lead the delivery of cost-optimized data platform and pipeline development projects within Databricks and Azure environments.

• Oversee implementation of analytical reports, dashboards, and data visualization using Power BI and related tools.

• Manage data governance activities, including quality, lineage, cleansing, and metadata (Purview or similar).

• Support semantic and dimensional data modeling to drive enterprise-level reporting and insights.

• Represent technology leadership in steering and executive meetings, preparing updates on progress, issues, and risks.

• Coordinate delivery across a global team (20% onshore / 80% offshore – Hyderabad), ensuring alignment with architecture and governance standards.

• Drive adherence to technical delivery methodologies, risk management, and quality assurance practices.

• Proactively identify delivery risks and mitigation strategies to ensure milestones are met.

• The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data engineering and analytics, with a strong background in delivery leadership and cross-functional collaboration. You should be a confident communicator, comfortable with executive stakeholders, and capable of balancing both technical and strategic delivery.

• Proven experience leading delivery for enterprise data platforms (Databricks, Azure Data Factory).

• Hands-on experience with data pipeline architecture, orchestration, and optimization.

• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and semantic model design for analytics.

• Experience with data governance and quality tools (e.g., Purview, Collibra, Informatica).

• Familiarity with Master Data Management (Customer/Product Hub preferred).

• Strong technical acumen and ability to engage in solution discussions.

• Executive-level communication and reporting skills.

• Experience managing distributed teams and working across time zones.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
