Job posted December 17, 2025. The Tech Manager collaborates with the External Manufacturing Operations teams and other GSK functions to build local capability and drive measurable value from existing and new innovative technology. The role is accountable for ensuring all External Manufacturing Tech systems are available, secure, and compliant with GSK Tech standards. It manages internal and external Tech providers against expected service levels and is responsible for business-level implementation of foundational, advanced, and digital Tech solutions to support and drive improvement in safety, service, cost, and quality KPIs.
The Tech Manager also champions adoption and use of Digital & Technology capabilities to improve performance, collaborates with PQTS+ teams to deliver increased value, and ensures digital capability remains secure and compliant with GSK standards.

Responsibilities- Collaborate and agree with business leadership teams on priorities for key Tech projects and strategy for the business over multiple years, benchmarking with other GSK sites and externally within the industry.
- Manage local Tech team and budget in the delivery of foundational, advanced, and innovation projects related to Tech to maximise value for the site, working within an agile, value-driven methodology.
- Act as site Tech subject matter expert (SME), maintaining and sharing deep domain Tech expertise and knowledge, facilitating input from other internal and external subject matter experts when appropriate.
- Champion Digital & Technology capability building across all site teams, working with leadership to identify and resolve capability gaps.
- Lead cross-functional teams at the site to deliver value through Digital & Technology-led projects.
- Build internal and external collaboration with Tech vendors, external companies, and other industry bodies, as well as collaborating with GSK functions to stay current with latest Tech and industry trends.
- Drive digital and technology operations to ensure site Tech remains secure and minimises vulnerability risks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science, engineering, computing, or similar discipline.
- Experience delivering and operating complex digital capability with significant business change using Agile methodologies.
- Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups and aligning business outcomes to digital interventions.
- Experience leading delivery and operation of digital capability within External Manufacturing & Supply Chain processes in a regulated environment.
- Strong expertise in current Tech solutions available in the marketplace and understanding of digital and technology management systems.
- Proven ability to lead others to success in a line and matrix manner with a wide range of skills (business, technical, project), combining strong goals on delivery, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Ability to shape best practices, develop capability across site teams, and champion the application of current and novel Digital & technology solutions for problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to work cross-functionally with a diverse team.
- Experience delivering and operating Software as a Service solutions with strong vendor and strategic partner management capabilities.
