Cloud Computing, Systems Engineer
The Integration Engineer is a hands-on leader responsible for implementing and supporting technologies for business growth in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment. This self-starter role requires proactive problem-solving and innovation in collaboration with IT Infrastructure and Applications teams. You will lead initiatives, drive decisions, and ensure business value by communicating results and making executive presentations. Passion for new technologies and problem-solving in the lubricant distribution sector is essential.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in network and systems engineering, including experience with firewalls, application implementations, virtualization, backups, and cloud services. You will design, execute, and optimize solutions.
- Oversee the architecture, integration, and deployment of both new and existing business applications and infrastructure
- Serve as a principal decision‑maker for the assessment and selection of enterprise‑grade technologies
- Proactively identify challenges, risks, and inefficiencies, addressing them with minimal supervision
- Administer and protect firewall systems across various environments
- Work closely with business units to collect requirements and provide application solutions that support company goals
- Facilitate the adoption of cloud‑based technologies and ensure they are effectively integrated with on‑premises systems
- Diagnose and maintain intricate network environments to guarantee optimal performance and uptime
- Deliver executive‑level reports and recommendations concerning technology roadmaps
- Over 5 years of experience in systems and network engineering, demonstrating expertise in application implementation and infrastructure management
- Proven capacity to lead initiatives, make data‑driven decisions, and operate independently
- Practical experience with cloud services (preferably Azure), virtualization technologies, and disaster recovery planning
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities
- Skilled communicator capable of engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, or other relevant technologies are highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
