The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Training.

The Associate Application Analyst – ERP Training provides learning and development services to UHS Corporate, Acute Care, IPM and Behavioral Health facilities to increase the effectiveness of HR, Payroll, Supply Chain, and Finance staff to better manage our infrastructure to better support the delivery of quality healthcare services to our patients. Works with the IS Training Coordinator, Training Content Developer/Lead and subject matter experts (SMEs) to support the creation and maintenance of educational materials to improve the accuracy of Workday transactions.

Assists with new training initiatives and provides ongoing support for existing applications. Works in a collaborative environment with facility staff, providers, SMEs, technical experts, and business leaders to deliver training that is accurate and complete for Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS) transactions. Training includes but is not limited to classroom and virtual delivery. Assists in configuring, data staging, and testing the Workday Training Tenant to provide a lifelike environment and an optimal learning experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

Support Production of Training Materials
  • Participates in the creation and editing of training materials such as handouts, tip sheets, recorded ERP/Workday demonstrations, and training guides.
  • Assists content developers with creation, editing, and content uploads for learning videos and interactive web-based modules as needed.
  • Updates training curriculum based on system/business needs and communicates changes to all affected parties.
  • Uses proper business writing skills to effectively communicate concepts in a clear, concise manner.
  • Adheres to appropriate adult learning principles.
  • Performs quality review of new or updated training materials.
  • Establishes and maintains regular communications with education team.
Training System Maintenance & Support
  • Participates in preparing the training systems for classes as needed.
  • Performs testing and maintenance of training systems.
  • Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Advisory Board Policies.
  • Updates/maintains classes in Learning Management System.
  • Demonstrates analytical problem solving to address Customer Service tickets pertaining to ERP training (as assigned).
Conducts Training
  • Tracks registration/attendance and grades classes in Health Stream LMS or other LMS systems and other training reporting mechanisms (in SharePoint).
  • Works with facility staff to ensure classroom is ready for training, training materials present, equipment available and functioning, etc.
  • Conducts classroom, virtual, group, or one on one training as dependent on specific learning requirements.
Administration and Oversight
  • Maintains Service Excellence principles.
  • Prepares and submits status reports to supervisor as required.
  • Properly documents updates to training materials and file appropriately.
  • Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems.
  • Monitors and updates service requests in the UHS ticket tracking system and Workday Case Management pertaining to training.
