Associate Director, Data Science & AI Strategies

Requirements Must have:

• – Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field preferred
• – 10 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or (Gen)
  AI within pharma/biotech or healthcare, with a focus on commercial analytics
• – Proven track record in the development and implementation of machine learning models in commercial or clinical settings
• – Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex datasets and making informed decisions
• – Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and emerging AI technologies
• – Experience in leading cross-functional AI/ML projects from concept to deployment
• – Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake), data engineering processes, and modern ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• – Experience with no-code data science tools is a plus
• – Excellent communication skills to translate business challenges into actionable analytical solutions and relay results to senior leadership
• – Ability to adapt strategies in a rapidly changing technological environment
• – Preferred:
  Experience in rare disease patient-finding models, evaluation frameworks for LLMs, and responsible AI practices
• – Preferred:
  Experience in leading the design, training, and evaluation of ML/LLM systems, and the ability to thrive in a matrix environment

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics and AI models to address key commercial challenges such as patient identification and HCP segmentation
• Collaborate closely with ABCIA Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Market Access teams to align solutions with strategic business objectives
• Define business problems and develop clear data science use cases, transitioning proof-of-concept pilots to full deployment
• Facilitate the adoption of AI-driven tools within the commercial organization, ensuring users comprehend and trust the outputs
• Work with I& T and Data Governance to promote responsible AI practices, maintain data quality, and ensure scalable infrastructure
• Lead CSL’s innovation efforts in the field, contributing to high-visibility publications and patents in the AI domain
• Establish KPIs and frameworks to evaluate the ROI and business impact of data science initiatives
