- Advocate of guest experience who welcomes, thanks, and exceeds guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness.
- Assist with in-store and digital services and solutions, drive adoption and guest loyalty, and make shopping quick and easy at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.
- Provide the skills and experience to communicate with guests, solve problems and adapt to different guest interactions.
- Engage guests with knowledge of tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve their experience.
- Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience.
- Greet guests and assist with daily tasks, helping solve their specific needs.
- Be knowledgeable about current promos, store activities and events.
- Know the tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve guest issues.
- Inform guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
- Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
- Explain and demonstrate features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
- Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering, and guide guests to enroll and use these features.
- Handle returns following store policies and escalate with leadership as needed.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and assist with stocking during store hours.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
- Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and returns with compliance to laws and policies.
- All other duties based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others, including team members.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, physically active role with teamwork and problem solving.
- You are open to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
- Effective communication with a welcoming attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to educate guests about products and services and operate handheld scanners and other technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, stay focused in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple tasks.
- Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office duties as needed.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, with lifting requirements as described by store policy.
- Flexible work schedule; reliable attendance required, and mobility for shift duration.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions for duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
