Security Site Supervisor – Garda World Job Summary
Garda World, a leading security firm, is hiring a Security Site Supervisor for its King of Prussia, PA location. The position is full‑time and on‑site with no travel required.

- Perform interior and exterior patrols to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism or disturbances.
- Manage large crowds and provide exceptional guest services, responding to inquiries and assisting with directions, event information and troubleshooting.
- Control access points, verifying identification, credentials and ensuring compliance with venue policies.
- Maintain constant surveillance of assigned areas; identify and report risks, vulnerabilities or unusual activity.
- Investigate complaints, accidents or suspicious persons and activities; document detailed incident and daily activity reports.
- Inspect public and backstage areas for safety hazards or damages, taking immediate action to prevent injuries or loss.
- Assist dignitary protection and K‑9 teams, ensuring secure routes, green rooms and restricted access zones.
- Respond to and manage emergency situations until public safety authorities arrive.
- Serve as dispatcher when required, monitoring CCTV, radios and alarm systems.
- Conduct searches of venues and surrounding facilities following a security threat; secure the scene and evacuate personnel when necessary.
- Provide supplemental security for special guests, talent and high‑profile visitors.
- Weekend availability is required; day and evening shifts available.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a security supervisor in crowd management, public safety, military or law enforcement (encouraged but not required).
- Ability to stay composed and professional in high‑pressure environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to write clear, concise reports.
- Strong situational awareness, judgment and problem‑solving skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk and patrol for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation, including during large‑scale events.
- Must hold or obtain valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification (free Garda World course provided) and a Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices related to event and venue security.
- Ability to evaluate and respond to potential threats with sound judgment.
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse individuals, even under stress.
- Skill in preparing professional written and verbal reports, conclusions and recommendations.
- Preferable education:
Bachelor’s degree or three years of relevant security/crowd management experience;
Associate’s degree in criminal justice with two years related experience. - Preferable supervisory or leadership experience in security, military or law enforcement.
This position involves extensive walking, standing and bending. Work conditions may include exposure to crowded areas, loud environments and dusty or confined spaces. Security officers must be prepared to respond to unpredictable or hazardous situations as part of regular duties.
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
