The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for day‑to‑day upkeep, preventive maintenance, and repair of building systems and equipment across multiple dermatology clinic locations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with outside contractors. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands‑on, and committed to maintaining a professional and safe clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general facility maintenance, lab equipment maintenance, including painting repairs, carpet repairs, flooring fixes, ceiling tile replacement, and lighting.
- Conduct routine filter changes, water cooler cleanings/repairs, and other scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems; coordinate with licensed contractors for advanced service needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electricians.
- Monitor and oversee vendor work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Interface with IT team.
- Assist with location buildouts/moving.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to service requests and facility‑related emergencies across clinic locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational standards in all clinics.
- 3+ years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair trades.
- Hands‑on troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
- Current PA Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable with ladders, bending, kneeling, and extended periods of physical activity.
- Frequent regional travel required between clinic sites.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple locations.
- Adaptability to sudden changes in direction during the workday to keep the enterprise operating smoothly and meet the needs of the team.
