We are seeking a talented and motivated Back-End/Services Software Engineer to join our development team. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud services. You will design, develop, and implement modern Java and Python microservices that run within a modern orchestration and cloud environment (such as AWS).

• Writing, building, deploying, and maintaining diverse software applications
• Overseeing and guiding the analysis, writing, building, and deployment of software
• Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience with Java
• Foundational experience with Java and/or Python in a professional setting
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with lightweight frameworks such as Quarkus or Spring Boot
• Comprehensive testing experience, including unit tests (e.g., JUnit), system tests, and integration tests
• Proficiency with various data storage solutions (Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, AWS or Azure cloud storage services)
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI/CD preferred; Jenkins acceptable)
• Proficiency with Maven, Gradle, and NPM
• In-depth knowledge of AWS managed services (S3, ECS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, Dynamo
  
  DB, Open Search)
• Strong knowledge of GEOINT data collection and distribution paradigms
• Ability to work effectively within a software engineering team
• Ability to work in office full-time
• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Government Clouds (e.g., Gov Cloud, C2S)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Python
• Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git, Git Lab)
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  and Agile Scrum software development methodology, including Git, Jira and Confluence
• IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or CASP)
