Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software IPT Lead for a new RF ground program. The Software IPT Lead is responsible for managing the software staff, leading the architecture and execution of the software solution, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality, safety, and performance standards. The Software IPT Lead coordinates all software development activities for the program, ensures consistent application of software best practices, and ensuring correct task allocation and prioritization.

This is an SR CAREER (level
5) ROLE where candidates typically require 9 years of professional experience and a BS degree.

Selected candidate will be required to possess an Active TS/SCI security clearance for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience leading teams functionally or technically
• Software Engineering skills and experience
• Earned Value Management (EVM) understanding or experience and/or schedule management for engineering activities
• Previous experience in RF Ground Systems
• Agile methodology experience
• An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for consideration

Skills:

• Prior functional management experience
• Prior experience as a software architect
• Prior experience with migrating and integrating R&D projects into an operational system
• Prior experience with mission management and command and control software
• Experience allocating software engineering resources across program projects
• Prior Control Account Management (CAM) experience
• Demonstrated experience modelling Full-Spectrum Leadership (FSL) behaviors
• Demonstrated communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
